Kaleo.
Kaleo is a 9-week summer discipleship program in Orlando, Florida. I spent two summers at Kaleo, growing in leadership, creativity, and ministry while serving through photography, social media, worship leadership, mentoring, and evangelism. This experience shaped the way I communicate, collaborate, and lead, while giving me a deep desire to use my creative gifts to serve and connect with others.
Leadership and Discipleship.
Through mentoring a younger student in her faith, leading a World Prayer presentation, collaborating with staff and fellow interns, and helping lead and serve within the Kaleo community, I developed leadership and relational skills that I will carry with me throughout my career.Worship.
Through working with a team to lead worship during gatherings, I was able to help create meaningful environments for worship and community.
Outreach.
Through evangelism training, sharing the gospel in conversation and outreach, I was able to grow in engaging people with compassion and confidence.Marketplace experience.
Through working at Bubbakoo's Burritos and Giordano's Pizza, I grew personally and professionally through everyday work - developing customer service, teamwork, responsibility, and a strong work ethic while balancing ministry commitments.Media and Creativity.
Through photography and social media, I discovered how visual storytelling can build community, communicate purpose, and capture meaningful moments.
